Pinnacle Curriculum is all about creating a warm and friendly environment where children love to learn. Teachers are provided with a daily theme-based guide that is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and fun for your child. At these tender young ages, the environment and learning experiences your child is exposed to are so important! Pinnacle Curriculum is based on the works of Piaget, Garnder, and Erikson, providing hands-on, center-based activities that promote the development of emerging skills. Your child will engage in the fun, interactive activities that are available to them and they will develop a love for learning while they are growing, playing and having fun!
Our Curriculum areas include:
Pinnacle Curriculum promotes activities that stimulate growth and development that can be incorporated into the routines of the day. Encouraging an atmosphere of caring, love and hugs, Pinnacle Curriculum provides teachers with fun activities to do with children all day, even the “radical routines” of eating and changing! The curriculum and lesson plans are designed for personalization, making it easy to tailor the curriculum to meet your child’s specific needs.
For toddlers, Pinnacle Curriculum follows a daily format that matches the ever-changing needs of your rapidly developing child! Each age group has separate curriculum that is specific to their educational and emotional needs, interests, and activity level. Pinnacle Curriculum provides small and large group time activities, along with center-based activities. Teachers have an abundance of ideas to enrich the learning centers in their classroom, providing many choices for your child to learn even more. The activities in Pinnacle Curriculum meet learning objectives that will help each child move towards their potential as they explore and experiment with materials and activities in the classroom.
As educators, we all believe in the importance of developing, inspiring, and growing young minds. Yet, amid changing standards and increasing expectations, many struggle to find the appropriate path to kindergarten readiness.
By balancing developmentally appropriate skills with just the right amount of play, DIG support teachers as they develop, inspire, and grow early learners on their way to Grade K.
When it comes to preparing young children to succeed and increasingly rigorous standards, it can be difficult to strike the right balance between play and instructional skills. Yet DIG does just that by offering an array of developmentally appropriate activities, instructional approaches and components, DIG supports the whole child.
With Mindworks’ proven, highly effective, K-8th grade research and evidence based learning solutions students will have hands- on and engaging courses they need to gain the 21st century skills. Here’s what to expect with our afterschool learning: Comprehensive curriculum aligned with the common core standards, Age appropriate teacher guides and materials kits filled with fun, creative, hand-on games, crafts, and activities. No worksheets or tired, boring games!
We are also “Texas School Ready” Center. Texas School Ready is a comprehensive preschool teacher training program combining a research-based, state-adopted curriculum with ongoing professional development and progress monitoring tools. The goal of this program is to help children be better prepared for schools.
We are a 4- star level Center under Texas Rising Star program. 4-star is a highest level a child care center can achieve under this program by proving their excellence and meeting all standards.
The Texas Rising Star program is “a voluntary, quality-based child care rating system of child care providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s subsidized child care program.” TRS Certification is available to Licensed Center and Licensed and Registered Child Care Home providers who meet the certification criteria. The TRS Provider certification system offers three levels of certification (Two-Star, Three-Star, and Four-Star) to encourage providers to attain progressively higher certification requirements leading to a Four-Star level.
We are also a part of a Program called Educational First Step. We are working with EFS on becoming nationally accredited for The National Accreditation Commission (NAC). The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs offers early childhood leaders the opportunity to demonstrate and document quality performance using research-based criteria and evidence-based practices. The National Accreditation Commission provides a comprehensive, ongoing quality improvement system that recognizes the inherent diversity among programs through the self-study and award process. The mission of Educational First Steps (EFS) is to increase the availability of quality early childhood education for economically disadvantaged children. Since we are a part of this great program we have an opportunity to take our 4 and 5 years old on Field Trip.
